BSGC 2023

The Institute of Biological Sciences, Faculty of Science, Universiti Malaya warmly invites all graduate students from around the world to join us here in Kuala Lumpur for the 28th Biological Sciences Graduate Congress, held on 14 – 15 December 2023.

 

The Biological Sciences Graduate Congress (BSGC) is an annual conference hosted by Universiti Malaya (UM), Chulalongkorn University (CU), and the National University of Singapore (NUS). BSGC serves as a medium for exchanging knowledge and sharing exciting findings by graduate students conducting research in biological sciences. This year’s conference theme is Embracing Convergence for Resilience, to reinstate the importance of collaborative and interdisciplinary research to generate innovative and sustainable solutions.

 

We are committed to nurturing a younger generation with more global minds that can bring positive change to their communities and respective countries. This conference will feature scientific lectures from outstanding international speakers, alongside an exceptional lineup of oral and poster presentations in an atmosphere of friendly competition for awards. The 28th BSGC will cover the following four themes which will run in parallel sessions:

• Theme 1: Applied Science and Biotechnology
• Theme 2: Biochemistry and Physiology
• Theme 3: Biodiversity, Ecology, and Systematics
• Theme 4: Cell and Molecular Biology
